Copper Sky Recreation Complex
The Copper Sky Recreation Complex (appropriately named in our beautiful desert) is a multifaceted sporting, fitness and leisure destination in Maricopa. Swim outdoors in their aquatic center that features a lap pool, leisure pool with a massive waterslide, a plash pad for the little ones and a lazy river. That sounds like our kind of weekend! Energize with a trip up the rock wall and don’t fret about cooler temperatures – the lap pool is heated and regulated year round for your comfort.

98 acres of endless fun is how we describe the Copper Sky regional park. It includes a five acre fishing lake, special event amphitheater with an incredible surrounding lawn, lighted baseball field, lighted basketball courts, lighted skate plaza, volleyball courts, softball fields, BBQ areas with picnic tables, two dog parks for both the active and the timid family pets, pitching mounds and more. The park is open from sunrise to 11pm. The Copper Sky Recreation Complex offers both seasonal and punch pass cards for you and your family.
We of course have to mention the fitness area at Copper Sky, which is a state of the art gym that provides personal training, InBody tests (to track your progress), group fitness classes, a gymnasium, stroller time (times can be found on their website), cardiovascular health area and an indoor running/walking track. From treadmills to weights, fit moms to body builders, this gym has something for everyone.
Ultrastar Multitainment Center
Dinner delivered seat-side, an amazing moving playing…does that sound like a dream? Well you’re in luck at the Ultrastar Multitainment Center. Harrah’s Ak-Chin in Phoenix
Need a pool day? Come relax in Harrah’s Ak-Chin swimming pool.
